Carolyn Vasi

Office Manager

Carolyn has had a remarkable journey through both her personal and professional life. Originally from New York, she lived in Florida for many years before settling in Arizona to be closer to family. Throughout her career, she has built a wealth of experience in the probate field, where she has worked for nearly three decades.

After graduating from John Adams High School in June 1989 with a Merit Endorsed Diploma and as a member of the National Honor Society, Carolyn continued her education at Pasco-Hernando Community College in Brooksville, Florida. She graduated in December 2007, earning a spot on the President’s List with a GPA of 3.729.

Carolyn has worked in the probate field for nearly 29 years. Her career began in 1990 as a legal secretary in New York, where she prepared legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence in personal injury litigation. She later moved to another firm, where she expanded her experience by working in Bankruptcy, Real Estate, and Corporate litigation departments. During this time, she also worked closely with the accounting department to resolve billing discrepancies, manage time sheets, and input diary reports.

In 1995, Carolyn relocated to Florida to join an estate planning firm, where she developed her skills in drafting guardianship and conservatorship pleadings, inventories, accountings, and various types of probate and trust administrations. It was here that Carolyn discovered her passion for probate law, especially her work advocating for the elderly. Over time, she became the office manager, handling all administrative aspects of the office. After the passing of her employer, she decided to leave Florida and move to Arizona in 2008.

Once in Arizona, Carolyn began working at a larger law firm, where she started learning the probate process in a new state. During the economic downturn in 2008, she returned to school to earn her real estate license. In 2011, she found a position at a firm in Sun City, where she furthered her probate expertise, handling complex trust  administrations, working with insurance companies, and building relationships with financial institutions.

Carolyn’s professional journey eventually led her to Lincoln & Lauer, PLLC in 2016, where she began as a probate paralegal. Her role expanded over time, and she took on responsibilities beyond probate work, including handling billing, accounts receivables, and bookkeeping. Today, Carolyn serves as the office manager and paralegal at Lincoln & Lauer, PLLC.

On a personal note, Carolyn is married to Paul and has two adult children, Michael and Katelyn, from a previous marriage. She is also the proud owner of two dogs: Jojo, and Angel. Carolyn enjoys staying active by attending Zumba/Upbeat Barre classes on weekends and is a dedicated member of CCV Church. Looking to the future, she is excited about the possibility of grandchildren and continues to cherish her annual cruises with her husband, exploring the world together.
